CJPS Intrams 2k.16: A Showcase of Fun, Creativity and Physical Discipline

We are excited to announce the launch of this year’s School Fair to be held on February 26, 2016, Friday from 8.00am to 5.00pm, at the High School campus.  It carries the Intramurals’ banner “A Showcase of Fun, Creativity, and Physical Discipline” while offering a different experience to our students as well as their family.

The School Fair

The 2016 School Fair aims to showcase the different school clubs of the elementary and high school departments through experiential booths. It is considered to be the culminating activity of each club and will be a chance for its members to promulgate and build interest in their clubs among their peers.   It will likewise be a chance for you parents, to visualize the extra-curricular activities that your child is exposed to outside his academic endeavors.

The Experience

There will be ten booths that will offer different experiences to participants.  These are considered fun booths as each will have simple yet enjoyable tasks for participants to accomplish within a given amount of time.  Through these tasks, students will have fun while learning and gaining exposure to the schools’ different clubs.  

• Do-Art-Yourself – Watch your child create origami figures and draw in our freedom board for the whole school to see

• Name that Tune – Do you think you’ve seen this game? Wait till you hear our student band members play their musical instruments as you guess that oh so familiar tune!

• Dicto Word Detective – Let’s expand our vocabulary while going through a maze
• Table Chess-Nis – Table tennis has never been this hard, come and hone your skills

• Minute to Shoot It – Badminton with an extra challenge

• Hot Shots – Be the next PBA star…earn star points for each shot made

• Instant Star Grand Karaoke Lounge – Watch your child gain confidence in singing in front of an audience
• Director’s Cut – Think the other tasks are too hard to handle, come and relax in our cinema
• IdeArt Face Painting Booth – Watch our Senior High School Students create art on skin
• Thinking Out Loud – Come out loud and proud with music and words as our students play DJs for the day

For a student to participate in each booth, he will have to pre-purchase chits at a minimum amount of ten pesos.  After completion of a task, he will receive points.  These points may be accumulated to claim a prize at the end of the fair.  Prizes include educational materials, musical instruments, sports equipment and gift certificates from our generous sponsors.

This event is for CJPS grades 1-10 students and their parents only.  Entry to the fairgrounds is FREE while participation in the booths requires one chit per entry.  For a limited time, we are offering a 5 + 1 promo (6 chits for Php50 only) which may be purchased from the CJPS Business Office from February 13 -23, 2016.  There will be on-site chit sales as well at regular price.  Please note that the chits are NOT for use in the food booths.
