Preschool

For the month of February, the Senior Kinder students will study things that grow. More specifically, they will discover and appreciate the functions of different plant parts and their importance. They will also practice important science skills like observing, predicting and recording information.

Finally, March will be dedicated to our Moving Up Day preparations. We know that this event is the affirmation of all of your child’s achievements and the validation of your dedication to providing him/ her quality education. Because of this, we encourage you to block off your calendars for all the important dates in March.

Grade School

In the past months, our students had the opportunity to experience various activities aimed at developing their moral, spiritual, intellectual and social skills. Theme based events were specifically created to bring about the holistic development of each individual.

This last two months of the fourth quarter for the Grade schoolers, may signal the end of the school year but still, as we highlight the importance of MAPEH (Music, Arts, Health and Physical Education), we gave our students the opportunity to promote their physical fitness and bring out their exceptional talents in Sports. Through the concluded Grade School intramurals and MAD Science event show and workshops, our students experienced the high spirited and exciting games designed to teach them the value of sportsmanship and teamwork and had the chance to enrich their knowledge in Science that sparked their imaginative thinking.

In addition, we want to thank you, parents, for your support and for making this a great year for your child. Looking back, it has been another year filled with many learning experiences and lessons that will prepare our students for the challenges of the next academic year.  

Middle School

The intellectual, physical and social facets of growth of our students have been the focus of our January and February activities. These include the recently concluded 3-day Intramurals. On top of these, the Middle School Department will further emphasize the social, along with the moral aspect of development of our kids, through the outreach activity that they themselves prepared and worked hard for: MS Project #SKL (Share Ko Love). Less-fortunate children from our community, who have the same ages as our MS students, will be the beneficiaries of the said event. This will be on February 10, 2018 from 8:30 to 11:30 in the morning.

And, as the academic year culminates, we would like to thank you, dear parents, for having been our active partners in the pursuit of our kids’ success. We continue to look forward to seeing all CJPS students grow to become better individuals.

Finally, below is the breakdown of important activities for the remainder of school year 2017-2018:

1. MS Project #SKL as stated earlier, will be on February 10, 2018. The MS students will get to spend a morning with other kids. A short program, games, gift-giving and meal have been prepared to make the event meaningful and memorable.
2. The 8^th Parenting Seminar will be on March 2, 2018 from 5:30-7:30pm. As usual, you may expect to receive a letter of invitation for the event.
3. The Recollection of Grade 6 graduating students, together with their parents is scheduled on March 03, 2018. A separate letter indicating its specific details will be released.
4. The Thanksgiving Mass to be attended by the Grade 6 graduating students, with their parents, will be on March 21, 2018. This will be at 9:00am, at the Sta. Ursula Parish Church. The grade 6 students will come in their graduation attire. Girls will wear their gala dress, white stockings and white, closed shoes. While boys will wear Santana polo, black slacks and black leather shoes. Please come early and have the kids bring their kind offering.
5. The Grade 6 Commencement Exercises will be on March 22, 2018. This will be held at the new CJPS building, from 5:00pm onwards.
6. Final Report Cards will be issued on April 11, 2018 from 9:00am to 11:00am only, at the CJPS Calumpang Campus.

High School

We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for the unconditional support you have given during our Intramurals. It is always heart-warming to see that despite some losses and wins, each Childean remained a true sportsman — one who values teamwork, is honest and fair.

As we move into the last quarter of the school year, we are guided with our theme, “Home and School Together May Give Our Children the Roots to Grow and the Wings to Fly” in the different activities planned for February and March.  Below are the details of the events:

1. Blink & SocSci Hub Outreach Program will be on February 15, 2018 from 8:00am to 12:00pm in the Batingan Campus. Feeding programand gift giving will be the highlights of this event, which will inculcate among our teens the value of serving their fellow men. Our Junior High School Students can show their support by bringing gift donations such as crayons, erasers, pads, pencils, notebooks and sharpeners. There will only be specific items assigned per section but if the student wishes to donate more items, it will be very much appreciated. Your child may bring his or her donations until February 12, 2018.
2. Recollection for all Grade 10 students will be on February 23, 2018 at  the Batingan Campus from 8:00am – 3:00pm.  This spiritual nourishment activity will make our Grade 10 students more equipped and prepared to face the challenges of Senior High School.
3. Parenting Seminar on March 2, 2018 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm in the Calumpang Campus.
4. Purity Ball for all Grade 12 students will be on March 10, 2018 at the Calumpang Campus.  A separate letter will be sent for the details.
5. STEM Day – This will be held on March 16, 2018 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.  All CJPS HS Parents are encouraged to come and to have fun with their children in discovering the applications of Math and Science in their daily lives.
6. Grade 10 Moving Up Ceremony will be on March 22, 2018.  This will be held at the CJPS new building in Calumpang at 9:00am onwards.
7. Senior High School (SHS) 1^st Commencement Exercises will be on  March 23, 2018, at 5:00pm onwards.  This will be held at Calumpang Campus.
