Financial Stewardship: Saving and Setting Financial Goals for your Family
Student success in not solely based on the excellent quality of education being provided to your kids, but also on the support they get from home, especially from you, dear parents. Your involvement in their education is vital to their total formation as productive individuals.
Having this considered, Child Jesus of Prague School has been aggressive in its goal to maximize parental involvement in any way possible. This is why we are conducting Parenting Seminars on a monthly basis.
This July, during the first of the series of Parenting Seminars, we were able to understand more our kids who belong to the Digital Generation and we also learned tips on how to more effectively deal with them. And we thank you, parents, for having attended the said seminar.
For our gathering this August, our guest speaker is Mr. Mike C. Villa-Real, the Vice President for Corporate & Consumer Relations Division of the Philippine Veterans Bank. He is also the former President and currently, a director of Bank Marketing Association of the Philippines(BMAP). Likewise, Mr. Villa-Real is a Marriage and Pre-Marital Counselor. He will help us define money and financial goals, which will ultimately enable us to save for our dreams.

Through this, we aim for you to learn the value of saving and setting financial goals for your family. These, along with financial tips for couples, will be discussed on the said Parenting Seminar.
The seminar is FREE of charge to all CJPS Parents, but slots are limited and seats in the venue will be on a first come, first served basis.
Aside from this, you and your child will be given the following incentives for your attendance:
- A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to all parents who will be able to attend at least five (5) seminar sessions for the entire academic year.
- Best Class Award – each time you attend a parenting seminar, the section to which your child belongs, earns significant points to be declared as the Best Class at the end of each month.
