Grandparents’ Day

This year, CJPS had another meaningful Grandparents’ Day celebration!  Dubbed as, “A Grand Day with My Grandparents”, our preschoolers invited their Lolos and Lolas to school and prepared different activities for them to enjoy. Together, they played games, listened to the story, How to Babysit a Grandpa and a Grandma and sang the Grandparents Day Song.  After, they completed the “My Grandparents and I” craft that expressed the children’s love for their grandparents.  They also spent a few minutes eating snacks and socializing with the other grandparents present.

The highlight of the day was a dance presentation by the children which clearly demonstrated how much they value their Lolos and Lolas in their lives.  The grandparents in turn showed their appreciation by showering their apos with hugs and kisses.

Truly, it was a “grand” Grandparents’ Day!
