OUR VOLLEYBALL SPIRIT

The volleyball games has already kicked-off !

CJPS is fielding in 3 teams to participate in this year’s interscholastic volleyball tournaments.  As in the past year, both the high school boys and the girls teams are participating.  Training program is underway to blend the old and new members for a more cohesive play and tighter team.  New for this year is our team composed of middle school girls who have shown potential to be very good players.  They were especially hand-picked to be trained and developed hopefully to join our high school team in the future.  Although tournament newbies, these girls are exhibiting a competitive spirit in the games.  We are truly proud of them!

These three teams are currently participating in the the Inter-Scholastic Sports Association (ISSA) Volleyball tournament where we are playing against top international schools such as Faith Academy, Brent International School, Beacon Academy, International school Manila and other tough teams such as Dela Salle Zobel, Xavier and Immaculate Conception Academy and Colegio San Agustin. Our high school boys team also joined The Metropolitan Schools Sports Association (MSSA) volleyball tournament which will start this September.  More tournaments are line-up already for our teams in the coming months. Indeed, this year will be an exciting one for our student-athletes.

Our desire for our student-athlete is to have an ultimate experience in competing where they will have the training and opportunity to instill self-discipline, fair play and good sportsmanship. We are hoping this year will be a fruitful one again not only in winning but in molding our student-athletes to become better persons inside out.
