SY 2017-2018 Opening of Classes Announcement

We wish to welcome you to the community of Child Jesus of Prague School. Another exciting learning experience awaits your child this SY 2017-2018 and we would like to provide you with some important announcements. Below are the details of the schedule of the distribution of books, orientation of parents for new enrollees and opening of classes for all levels:

I. DISTRIBUTION OF BOOKS:

Preschool Department – May 22, 2017
Note: Nursery and Junior Kinder levels will only receive school supplies. All workbooks will be distributed on the first day of classes. The Senior Kinder level will also receive school supplies and books. Workbooks will be distributed on the first day of school.
Grades 1 to 3 – May 23, 2017 (Distribution of books for grades 1 and 2 will be from 8:00am to 12noon and Grade 3 from 1:00pm to 4:30pm)
Grades 4 to 6 – May 24, 2017 (Distribution of books for grades 4 and 5 will be from 8:00am to 12noon and Grade 6 from 1:00pm to 4:30pm)
Grades 7 and 8 – May 25, 2017 (Distribution of books for grade 7 will be from 8:00am to 12noon and Grade 8 from 1:00pm to 4:30pm)
Grades 9 to 11 – May 26, 2017 (Distribution of books for grades 9 and 10 will be from 8:00am to 12noon and Grade 11 from 1:00pm to 4:30pm)
Grade 12 – June 5, 2017 (Distribution of books for grade 12 will be from 8:00am to 12noon)
All Levels – June 6, 2017 Onwards (Claiming of books for those who were not able to come on the above-stated dates.)

Procedure in Claiming of Books:
Please claim the books of your child based on the above schedule. You may also claim the books of your child from a different grade level provided that one of them is scheduled to receive his/ her books on that date.
Please bring your Book Assessment Checklist and Official Receipt and directly present them in ROOM # 2 in the Calumpang Campus New Building.
If books and school supplies have not yet been purchased, please visit our business office asap to avoid delays during the actual distribution of books.
II. PARENTS’ ORIENTATION (FOR PARENTS OF NEW ENROLLEES ONLY):

Nursery, J.Kinder & S.Kinder – June 13, 2017 at 8:30am to 11:30am in the Calumpang Campus New Building
Grades 1 to 6 – June 13, 2017 at 1:30pm to 4:30pm in the Calumpang Campus New Building
Grades 7 to 10 – June 14, 2017 at 8:30am to 11:30am in the Calumpang Campus New Building
Grades 11 and 12 – June 14, 2017 at 1:30pm to 4:30pm in the Calumpang Campus New Building
Note: For Grade 11 and 12, all parents (old and new) are requested to attend the orientation.

III. OPENING OF CLASSES – JUNE 19, 2017

Nursery, Junior Kinder and Senior Kinder – Students will be dismissed one hour earlier for the first week
Grade 1 – 7:30am to 10:30am (AM Session, 1st Day), 1:00pm to 4:00pm (PM Session, 1st Day)
Grade 2 – 7:30am to 11:15am (1st Day)
Grade 3 and 4 – 7:00am to 11:30am (1st Day)
Grade 5 and 6 – 7:00am to 11:45am (1st Day)
Grades 7 and 8 – 7:00am to 11:45am (1st Day)
Grades 9 and 10 – 7:00am to 11:45am (1st Day)
Grades 11 and 12 – 7:00am to 12:00noon (1st Day)
Note: Regular class schedule will be followed by the Grades 1-12 levels starting June 20, 2017.
