8th Parenting Seminar- “Effective Parenting with a Spiritual Life.”
When we talk about the family, no issue is too small nor irrelevant. As the fundamental building block of society, the family plays a critical role in nurturing children to succeed in life. Hence, on our last parenting seminar for SY 2017-2018, we have invited Ms. Maribel Dionisio, a much sought-after speaker and resource person at workshops and radio and television programs on parenting, marriage and family to give a seminar on “Effective Parenting with a Spiritual Life.” This event will be on Friday, March 2, 2018, 5:00 – 7:30 pm at the CJPS Calumpang Campus New Building.
Ms. Dionisio has been providing guidance and counseling to parents and married couples in navigating through their family life. She also maintains an associate counselor position at the Reintegration for Care and Wholeness (RCW) Foundation, Inc. and had been a counselor for the Center for the Family Ministries (CEFAM) for over 10 years.
As your partner in your child’s development, it is likewise our mission to help you stay informed and empowered as caring, responsible and loving parents. Please note that this seminar is FREE of charge to all CJPS Parents. However, slots are limited and seats in the venue will be on a first come, first served basis. Also, you and your child will be given additional incentives for your attendance as follows:
- A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to all parents who will be able to attend at least five (5) seminar sessions for the entire academic year.
- Best Class Award – each time you attend a parenting seminar, the section to which your child belongs, earns significant points to be declared as the Best Class at the end of each month.
