What are the requirements and procedure to follow for new enrollees?
A. Pre-school (Nursery and Kindergarten)

Submission of Birth Certificate

B. Preparatory to Grade One

1.Submission of Final Form 138 (Report Card)
2.He/She must pass the written and oral examination

C. Elementary and High School

1.Submission of Final Form 138 (Report Card) duly signed by the principal.
2.Satisfactory deportment grade.
3.A final general average of at least 82% with no grade below 80%.
4.A written recommendation signed by the applicant’s former grade/high school principal.
5.He/She must pass the entrance examination.

How is the quality of education at Child Jesus of Prague School compared to other private schools?

Our track record will speak for itself when asked about the quality of education offered by the school. Below is a list of our accomplishments as an organization:

•In SY 2001-2002, Child Jesus of Prague School won 9 out of possible 16 Gold Medals in the Annual Binangonan Inter Private School Academic Contest.

•Child Jesus of Prague School in SY 2002-2003 won 11 out of 16 GOLD MEDALS in the Binangonan Inter Private School Academic Contest.

•In 2003 RIPRISA Academic Competitions, Child Jesus of Prague Scho
ol dominated the contest by winning 23 medals out of 29 events. Twelve of these medals are Gold, 7 Silver and 4 Bronze. This competition was participated by private schools in Binangonan and Angono. This made Child Jesus of Prague School as the major representative of the two above mentioned towns to the Provincial Level Inter- Private Schools Academic Competitions.

•In the Provincial Level Inter Private Schools Academic Competitions, Child Jesus of Prague School once again dominated the event and brought home 8 out of possible 12 GOLD MEDALS

•In school year 2010-2012 Child Jesus of Prague School won the Overall-Championship of the Binangonan Private Schools Association (BIPRISA) Sports Fest for the Third consecutive school year.

•Consistent TOP 5 member of the National Elementary Assessment Test (NEAT) conducted by then, DECS. The NEAT determines the level of academic achievement of Grade Six or graduating students of all schools nationwide.

•Child Jesus of Prague School was awarded by the Department of Education in 2000 as one of the TOP PERFORMING SCHOOLS in the country.
•For TWO CONSECUTIVE YEARS (2007-2008), we have been the NUMBER 1 TOP PERFORMING HIGH SCHOOL in Binangonan, Rizal and NUMBER 6 out of 117 Private High Schools for the entire REGION IV-A in the National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE).
•For 3 consecutive years parents have given us an average ranking of OUSTANDING for our services (Administration, Faculty, Quality of Service, Security and Safety of Students, Facilities).
•We have the second biggest student population in the town of Binangonan, Rizal. Our student enrollees have been consistently increasing for the past SEVEN (7) years now. This is a solid proof that more and more people in Binangonan, Rizal are valuing quality education.

What is the method of teaching and curriculum used by the school?

What types of learning materials is the school using?

The school provides a healthy learning environment. Every pre-school room is equipped with Montessori Materials. Computers, Overhead and LCD Projectors, television and other teaching aids are readily available, making every classroom conducive for learning.

What universities and colleges are the graduates admitted to?

In the recent past, majority of our high school graduates landed in prestigious universities such as University of the Philippines, University of Sto. Tomas, Mapua Institute of Technology, Don Bosco and Others.

What is the current teacher to student ratio of the school?

The average teacher to student ratio at Child Jesus of Prague School is 1 teacher for every 30 to 35 students in the elementary and high school levels. For the pre-school department, a teacher handles only 15 to 20 students.

Do you offer bus service?

Yes, the school offers bus service to students living in Binangonan, Angono, Cardona and Morong, Rizal. Please contact Mrs. Cristina Liwanag at 652-0403 or 289-4011 LOC 801 for more details.

Who should I call for a scheduled visit to the campus?

You may call Mrs. Cristina Liwanag at 652-0403 if you wish to visit the elementary campus and Mrs. Neneth Jandoc at 652-3787 if you are interested in seeing the high school campus.

How is the security of students inside the campus?

Consistently, Child Jesus of Prague School has been given the rank of OUTSTANDING for security of students by parents who have evaluated the school. This is due to the fact that both the elementary and high school campuses are well secured. Once a student is inside the campus, he/she will not be allowed to leave unless his/her accredited bus service or official fetcher arrives. Drivers of bus services and all fetchers are given an identification card to help the school’s security guards identify the person picking up the student.
How can I reserve a slot for my child?

The school prioritizes current enrolled students before accommodating reservations of transferees. Below is the schedule of reservations for old and new students:

CURRENT STUDENTS: December to January 30
NEW STUDENTS: February 1 to March 30

What is the policy if I wish to refund a payment I have made or withdraw my enrolled child?

Period of withdrawal Percentage of total amount due for the year to be charged to withdrawing student
Before the opening of the school 10%

After the 2nd week of classes 100%

POLICY ON REFUND/ WITHDRAWAL OF ENROLLEMNT

Note: By total amount due for the year, we mean the total tuition and fees for the School year. Notice of withdrawal must be done in WRITING. There are no refunds for Registration, Reservation and Testing fees.

What is the medium of instruction?

The medium of instruction for all levels is English except for the subjects MAKABAYAN and FILIPINO. Even Araling Panlipunan is being taught in English for the HS Level.

What is the School’s Curriculum?

The curriculum of the School is based on the Montessori Style of Teaching for the Pre-School Levels and the Basic Education Curriculum (BEC) for the Elementary and High School Departments

Update: In 2006, the School’s Curriculum was modified for it to fully comply with the standard set forth by K-12 Schools in California. This was done through a long process of strategic planning and testing which upon the evaluation by Asian Psychological Services and Assessment Corporation, the Child Jesus of Prague School was found to be fully compliant with both national and international standards.
