Middle School

The Middle School Department is a community dedicated to promoting academic excellence and personal growth for students in grades 5 to 8. Our department is designed to support students as they transition from elementary to high school, providing rich experiences that prepare them for future success, and offering a blend of academics and holistic development.

An important milestone in a student’s academic journey is entering middle school. It is a crucial stage for personal growth, and we work hard to provide an atmosphere that will enable them to become competent and confident young people.

Our mission is to provide a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages academic excellence, personal growth, and social responsibility. We are committed to fostering a community where students feel valued and inspired to reach their full potential. Before the start of a school year, teachers undergo a series of training to ensure that they are well-prepared as they face their students. They make time to analyze the curriculum provided by the Department of Education. Guidance is provided as they create, revise, and update the learning plans and instructional materials.

As our teachers face the students, confidence and professionalism are very evident in them. They use attractive PowerPoint Presentations, engaging classroom strategies and activities, sufficient amounts of exercises and activities, and assessments that are all aligned with the target competencies.

Our classrooms are not just a place for students to sit down and listen to the teachers; it is also a place for them to become leaders, work with one another, discover new things, experiment, show positive changes, and most importantly, become closer to God.

To aid the students to become the best version of themselves, our department offers the following opportunities:

● Leadership Opportunities: Through the student supreme government and other classroom-based leadership roles, students can develop their leadership skills and learn to work collaboratively.

● Social, Emotional and Spiritual Learning: Our programs emphasize the importance of emotional intelligence, faith in God, resilience, and healthy relationships, helping students to develop strong social skills.

● Extracurricular Activities: Students can participate in numerous extracurricular activities such as academic quiz bees, sports teams, clubs, and outreach programs. These activities help students build teamwork, leadership, and social skills.

● Support Services: We understand that middle school can be a challenging time for students, and we are here to support them every step of the way. Our support services include counseling, remedial sessions, and tutoring.

Lastly, we believe that education is a collaborative effort involving students, parents, and the community. We encourage parents to be active participants in their child’s education by attending school events, Parent-Teacher Conference, and Parenting Seminars. Communication with parents and guardians is done through the monthly newsletter that contains a list of school activities, quarterly topics, and announcements. Our school also provides an easier way for parents and guardians to relay their concerns and questions through email, message, and phone calls.
