PRESCHOOL
GRADE SCHOOL
In the past months, our students had the opportunity to experience various activities aimed at developing their moral, spiritual, intellectual and social skills. Theme based events were specifically created to bring about the holistic development of each individual.
The last two months of the fourth quarter may signal the end of the school year but still, the Grade School department has prepared events that will give them fun, excitement and learning at the same time.
First, we invited an outside edutainment provider that will present an exciting, engaging, and engrossing exploration of the outer space through the NCERIES SPACE SHOW on February 18, 2019. The objectives of this event are:
- Promote awareness among students in the field of science.
- Implement fun, interactive and educational activities that would serve as a helpful discussion starter and teaching tool.
- Empower the students to grasp abstract scientific ideas and events and make them realize the impact of math and the sciences in our daily lives, and understand how scientific knowledge can contribute to a more equitable and peaceful society.
Next, is the CJPS GS FAMILY RUN 2K19 which will happen on March 2, 2019. The objectives include:
- To raise funds for the select home for the aged institution.
- To get the whole family into a healthy and active activity.
A follow-up letter for the details of this event will be sent to you shortly.
Lastly, we want to thank you, parents, for your continued support and for making this a great year for your child. Looking back, it has been another year filled with many learning experiences and lessons that will prepare our students for the challenges of the next academic year.
MIDDLE SCHOOL
The intellectual, physical and social facets of growth of our students have been the focus of our January and February activities. These include the recently concluded 3-day Intramurals.
For the remainder of the school year 2018-2019, the Middle School Department will continue to provide opportunities for students to hone their socio-emotional strengths.
As the academic year culminates, we would like to thank you, dear parents, for having been our active partners in the pursuit of our kids’ success. We continue to look forward to seeing all CJPS students grow to become better individuals.
Below is the breakdown of important activities for the remaining period of the academic year:
- On-Campus Tour: NCeries Space Show – Middle School kids will get to explore the planetarium and other science-related stuff through interactive and fun activities. This will happen in the school campus on February 18, 2019 from 12:00nn to 4:30pm.
- Club Fest – On February 22, 2019, all the students will have the chance to participate in and experience the activities other clubs have prepared, while interacting with other schoolmates.
- MS #SKL (Share Ko Love) Outreach Activity – Our Grade 7 and 8 students will go off-campus to share learning and fun to public school grade 1 pupils. This will be on March 1, 2019. A separate letter indicating its specific details will be released.
- The Recollection of Grade 6 graduating students, together with their parents is scheduled on March 09, 2019. This will be from 8:00am to 12:00nn at the school’s multi-purpose covered court. It is imperative for parents to be with their kids for this activity. Please bring your own snacks, pen and paper.
- The Thanksgiving Mass to be attended by the Grade 6 Catholic students, with their parents will be on March 20, 2019, 9:00am, at the Sta. Ursula Parish Church. The grade 6 students will come in their graduation attire. The girls will wear their gala dress, white stockings and white, closed shoes. While the boys will wear santana polo, black slacks and black leather shoes. Please come early and have the kids bring their offering for the mass.
- The Grade 6 Commencement Exercises will be on March 21, 2019. This will be held at the CJPS multi-purpose court, from 5:00pm onwards.
- Final Report Cards will be issued on April 10, 2019 from 9:00am to 11:00am only, at the CJPS Calumpang Campus.
HIGH SCHOOL
We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for the unconditional support you have given during our Intramurals. It is always heartwarming to see that despite some losses and wins, each Childean remained a true sportsman — one who is honest, fair and values teamwork.
As we move into the last quarter of the school year, we are guided with our theme, “Home and School Together May Give Our Children the Roots to Grow and the Wings to Fly” in the different activities planned for February and March as follows:
1. SSG & SocSci Hub Outreach Program will be on February 12, 2019 from 2:00am to 4:00pm in Blue Whale Home for the Abandoned Female Elderlies, Darangan Binangonan Rizal. Feeding program and gift giving will be the highlights of this event.
2. NCERIES Space Show will be on February 16, 2019 from 11:30am to 4:00pm at Calumpang Campus. This show aims to promote awareness among our Grade 9 to 12 students the fields of math and science through fun, interactive and educational activities.
3. Recollection for all Grade 10 students will be on February 26, 2019 at the Batingan Campus from 8:00am – 3:00pm. This spiritual nourishment activity will make our Grade 10 students more equipped and prepared to face the challenges of Senior High School.
4. Recollection for all Grade 12 students and their parents will be on March 2, 2019 at the Batingan Campus from 8:30am – 12:00pm. This spiritual nourishment activity will make our Grade 12 students more equipped and prepared to face the challenges of Collegiate level.
5. JS Prom for all Grade 11 and 12 students will be on March 8, 2019 at the Calumpang Campus. A separate letter will be sent for the details.
6. Moving Up Ceremony will be on March 21, 2019. This will be held at the new CJPS building, at 9:00am onwards. The Grade 10 students should wear their daily uniform.
7. Senior High School (SHS) 2nd Commencement Exercises will be on March 22, 2019, at 5:00pm on wards. This will be held at Calumpang Campus.
