PRESCHOOL

The first month of the Preschool online class in the school year 2020-2021 was very successful as well as the celebration of Buwan ng Wika. We were able to gather every family member to participate in the said activity despite the pandemic we are experiencing today. Last month, our students also learned about the Filipino traditions, the National symbols, the favorite games of their parents and grandparents, “Mga Larong Pinoy” and most especially they learned the importance of using our language.

This month of September is dedicated to our dear Grandparents. The Preschool Department will have a simple program in their honor on September 18, 2020. Details about this will be communicated through a separate letter.

GRADE SCHOOL

MIDDLE SCHOOL

Being able to competently communicate is one of the fundamental indicators of academic success. This has been one of the objectives last August in which MS students were able to use the Filipino language to create poems, make posters, tell stories, and do vlogs.

This month, with the theme “We create school and home links to bring faith, wisdom and love in sync”, the School will once again gear towards fostering harmonious relationships at home and creating resilience amidst the pandemic with the English language as the main vehicle.

In line with this, the following are the activities for the Month of September:

  1. September is English Month! The activities include the following: Spelling Quiz Bee, Essay Writing Contest, Tribute and Motivational Video Making Contest, A Minute Talk and Family Reading Day. These activities do not only intend to provide distinct opportunities for our students to sharpen their communication skills; but also, to acknowledge that being confident and competent in the language could help them become more productive and responsible citizens.
  1. Student Council Elections. With our aim to develop our students’ leadership abilities and build a partnership between the school and community through service, we encourage every student to participate in the election process whether as a candidate or voter.
  1. Launching of School Clubs. This extra-curricular program aims to give each student exposure to different interest areas.  Also, attending club meetings serves as an opportunity for each member to interact with students and teachers from other levels and share common interests.  Your child will get to join one of the following School Clubs:
