PRESCHOOL
We want to express our gratitude for your unwavering support for the CHILD JESUS OF PRAGUE SCHOOL- Light a Tree Project. It is because of the lanterns you bought that we, as a family and a community were able to donate rice, canned goods, toiletries, face masks, and face shields to families from Batingan, Calumpang, and Day Care Children through Binangonan MSWDO.
Once again, on behalf of your whole CJPS family from the bottom of our hearts, thank you very much.
The year 2021 is another challenging and amazing year for all of us, especially our children. And, to start the year right, the School makes January as CJPS Family Month.
As part of our January Activities, we are launching the “Bible Story Night”, Parents will read a story from the Bible to their children during bedtime. With this activity, we can deepen the relationship among the members of the family. You will take pictures or videos while having the storytelling and send them to your child’s adviser. Your child will be given a chance to share the stories with his/her classmates during CLED meetings.
To further strengthen family ties, we encourage parents to carve out time for their family. Likewise, Guidance Day will allow parents to enjoy time with their children through fun-filled activities.
Most importantly, to ensure that families will also be nurtured spiritually, we continue to urge you to attend our Family Bibliarasal every Friday.
Finally, the CJPS Community will be one with the Church as we celebrate the Feast of Sto. Niño on January 17, 2020. A live Mass will be streamed on our FB Page.
GRADE SCHOOL
As we start the New Year, the CLED and Values Education Department will highlight the family and its influence on every child. These subjects will also emphasize among our pupils the importance of sharing and appreciating blessings received from God as we celebrate the Feast of Sto. Niño. When we look at the image of the Infant Jesus and contemplate God’s love that emanates from the face of the child, like in their everyday life as every child depends on their family, we as a family peer into our helplessness and dependence on the benevolent Father. The Sto. Niño feast is an occasion for Filipino Catholics to gather as one family and community. Wherever the feast is celebrated, the message is the same – live with childlike appreciation for life’s blessings, simply and humbly. As Jesus said: “Whoever does not accept the kingdom like a child will not enter it; whoever humbles himself like a child is greatest in the kingdom of heaven; whoever receives one child in My name receives Me.”
Among other things, we will expose our pupils to various activities for this month. With the theme: "We create school and home links, and bring faith, wisdom, and love in sync”, that aims to increase awareness with regards to the current situation we are facing, show resilience in every difficulty by being inspired by God’s Word and keeping our faith to God as a family. The activities we prepared are intended not only for our pupils but for families as well. We encourage you dear parents to be with your child and support them as they perform the specific activity at home.
The following are the important reminders for January:
- Family Bibliarasal – as one of the highlights of the CJPS Family Month, we encourage you, as a family, to take part in this spiritual gathering every Friday at 6:00 pm via Zoom link shared with you in the monthly calendar.
- Feast of the Sto. Niño – which will be on January 17, 2021. A live mass will be streamed on our Facebook page at 6:00pm.
- Issuance of Second Quarter e-copy Report Cards – which will be on January 23, 2021.
- Oral Exam and Assessment Week for MT 1 Third Quarter – which will be on January 25 – 28, 2021. Let us be together in developing your children’s self-confidence and independence in performing the tasks for them to be proud of their output as they do it all by themselves.
We would also like to take the opportunity to thank you for your unending support and generosity to our CJPS Light a Christmas Tree Project last December 2020. Your contributions reached many of our less fortunate brothers and sisters in the community.
MIDDLE SCHOOL
Happy New Year to you all and a very warm welcome to 2021, which I believe will be a year of success and prosperity for all of us!
We have so far culminated in a number of major activities for 2020 and we would like to thank you for actively taking part, especially in the Annual Christmas Gift-Giving drive through Light A Tree Project. Your generosity and sense of charity have reached and touched many lives.
At this juncture, we continue our journey through the academic year, with your child’s holistic progress as our primary goal. All year round, values formation is integrated into the daily lessons, across all disciplines. This month, the School, through the Christian Life and Values Education department, will provide diverse and specific activities that will focus on our students’ moral and spiritual facets of development. These activities will be classroom-based.
January is also the CJPS Family Month so we have prepared exciting activities for bonding moments and relationship building. Some of these activities will be integrated in the different subjects, Personal Wellness Time (PWT) and we also have the usual monthly family event. We assigned specific sections to attend our Family Bibliarasal to ensure that families will also be nurtured spiritually through this online Bible study and fellowship. We expect you, parents to make time for these important events.
We will also launch the Vision Awards for students which aim to recognize students who demonstrate holistic and outstanding performance as it relates to our School's values of community, engagement and excellence for the remaining months of the school year.
Some of the major activities for the month of January are as follows:
- Feast of Sto. Niño on January 17, 2020, Sunday. A live mass will be streamed on our FB Page.
